Being as it is that I have a working x86 GNUstep box and at the moment a non-functioning NeXTstation, I wanted to find some way to use my NeXT non-adb keyboard on my GNUstep box. This page, http://www.68k.org/~degs/nextkeyboard.html which I found in a post on http://www.nextcomputers.org, gave me most of what I needed to get started. Though, instead of using USB which was too hard for me, I used regular serial. (I.E. NeXT non-adb serial out – pin 2 input serial port, gnd and 5v+ off of a spliced USB cable. Ive started writing a program which listens for the keyboards input in c over the serial port. – More later!
